While internships are NOT a requirement for Communication majors, they are suggested, and provide real world experience in a professional work environment.
A minimum of 3 internship credits is required, but you may earn up to 6 !

1 Internship Credit is 40 total work hours over an approximately 15 week work period; Summer internships follow different time constraints.
High-Credit Internships
Any internship over 6 credits must get advanced approval and, if approved, will be subject to additional oversight by the Internship Coordinator.
