Revival Tattoo is a growing tattoo and lifestyle brand based in Newburgh that is searching for interns to help with PR outreach, media communications, brand development, and shop events. This is for the Spring 2026 semester with hybrid flexibility available for an 8–10-hour work week.

This internship is seeking motivated students majoring in Strategic Communications/Journalism/Marketing that are looking to gain hands-on experiential learning, portfolio building, and exposure to creative industry public relations. This internship provides academic credit and a transportation stipend as they are roughly 25 minutes from campus.

NYC Pride PR & Communications Spring/Summer 2026 Internship

NYC Pride is the nonprofit organization responsible for producing official LGBTQIA+ Pride events in New York City, including the iconic NYC Pride March. This organization is hiring a PR & Communications intern to support the NYC Pride Communications team in developing media materials, conducting media outreach, monitoring and tracking media coverage, engaging in our media partners, and supporting other communication activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in media relations and strategic communications.

Location: New York City (remote/hybrid) from February – July 2026. 10-20 hours per week with in-person availability required during Pride Weekend, (June 26-28, 2026).

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Canva and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Knowledge of media outreach/monitoring platforms preferred (Meltwater).

  • Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Interest in LGBTQIA+ advocacy, media relations, and strategic communications.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in the NYC metropolitan area, but remote applicants will be considered.
  • Photography/videography experience is a plus but not required.

Attend the Legislative Gazette Virtual Information Session 12/10

The Legislative Gazette is a student-run news outlet in Albany that is always looking for DMJ and COMM student interns. On Wednesday, December 10 at 3:00 p.m. on Webex, there will be a virtual information session and tour. The Legislative Gazette hires interns to serve as writers, photographers, copy editors, social media editors, podcast producers, and video content producers. Students can learn more about the various internship positions available and their daily responsibilities during this information session.

Students are also eligible to receive funding for traveling costs to Albany. DMJ and COMM students are highly encouraged to consider interning for the Legislative Gazette to complete their internship requirement or to gain valuable experience.

Public Relations Internship for Spring 2026!

The Row is a fashion company looking for Spring 2026 interns that are interested in public relations within the fashion industry. This is an in-person internship based in New York City for $17/hour from January – May. Students must be able to obtain academic credit for this internship and majoring in communications. Interns are expected to commit up to 32 hours per week, with schedules that can accommodate academic obligations where applicable/

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with brand marketing initiatives such as print materials, research for social media, and other similar projects.
  • Assist with photoshoot organization and support.
  • Assist with graphic design projects for emails and the alike.
  • Social media layouts and drafting.
  • Assist with brand PR team to facilitate send outs and provide support to publications.

Undergraduate students can enroll by completing 12 graduate-level credits during their senior year. These credits are offered at a reduced undergraduate tuition rate and fulfill both undergraduate and graduate program requirements! Undergraduate seniors also have the opportunity to replace major electives with graduate courses.
