SPRING 2026 Internship Opportunity: Grant Writer Intern for AngmarTek LLC

AngmarTek LLC, a technology-driven startup based in Washington is searching for students in programs related to writing, business, engineering, or a similar field to work as a grant writer. This is a remote, unpaid, part-time position that is 10-20 hours per week. Eligible students may earn academic credit. Interns receive mentorship, practical experience, in grant writing and letters of recommendation for satisfactory work.

As an unpaid grant writer, students will assist with the writing and preparation of grant proposals, focusing primarily on SBIR/STTR grants for various research projects and agencies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with technical teams to gather data, develop compelling proposals, and contribute to important research initiatives.

Key Duties:

  • Research and identify historical SBIR/STTR documents to generate content.
  • Assist in writing and editing proposals for funding applications.
  • Work with technical teams to compile necessary data and project information for proposals.
  • Ensure proposals meet all submission requirements, including compliance with agency guidelines.
  • Help review and revise grant proposals for clarity, structure, and alignment with funding objectives.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of grant application progress.

SPRING 2026 Internship Opportunity: Civic and Activism Remote Internship with TurnUp

TurnUp, a 501(c)(3) non-partisan non-profit organization, is offering unpaid remote internship opportunities. This organization is dedicated to increasing youth civic education, empowerment, and activism. TurnUp was featured in Forbes as a standout non-profit organization.

This program’s format is tailored to accommodate the ever-fluctuating commitments and responsibilities of a student’s lifestyle, the program is fully remote, has start dates at the beginning of each month, encourages campus engagement, and has flexible time frame and schedule. All students have access to grow into a more capable and responsible citizens and to develop their professional skills for a successful future.

Students join remote teams that are energized by mission-driven, diverse students from around the country who work on amplifying youth civic engagement and learn about responsible activism on many social justice issues. The application for internship eligibility is easier and better than ever before! First, before you apply, make sure you are qualified to apply for eligibility. Here is the check list:

  • 60+ total credits
  • 30+ credits at New Paltz (1 year residency)
  • 18+ credits in the major
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

 

Once you are qualified you can begin the application. Remember, this application is a one-time deal, which means once you are approved you can intern any semester thereafter (as long as your GPA doesn’t drop below a 2.5).

The Century House Historical Society & Widow Jane Mine are looking for Workers and Interns

The Century House Historical Society and Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale are looking for students to fill different positions and internships for the historical properties. Holding one of these positions would make you an important figure in preserving the history of the Catskill and Hudson Valley economic history in indigenous cement mines. 

The positions available are… 

1. Curator of Museum Archives & Collection 

This job is best suited for people who have interests in journalism and history, with great attention to detail. Those who apply will be able to take a tour of the museum to see the estate’s quality and learn its history. Before applying, you should contact the director Althea, who will explain the position in better detail.

2. Graphic Artist Internship 

This would be a mostly remote position. The graphic artist would layout grounds in the format of a map with a tear-off section for contact information. This position may also include researching the best cost effective way to print designs. It would be ongoing for one year, most likely on a monthly or “per-project with deadline” basis. 

3. Social Media Coordinator Internship 

This position would be hybrid; most can be done remotely, but you would have to be available on site for event dates. You would mostly promote and design content to generate admission for the Century House, promote the Widow Jane brand and events, and update content across social media platforms. 

4. Head Intern HR Advisor Internship 

This position would be hybrid; you would review applications remotely but some interviews may be in person. Your role would be screening other interns, answering questions about the opportunities, and advise areas of participation best suited for them. You would need to have excellent communication skills and know how to complete data entry.

5. Horticulture Advisor Internship 

This would be an ongoing, flexible on-site position, with some remote potential. This position is for you if you have a green thumb and are interested in natural landscaping. To learn more about the position, contact Althea directly.

Radio Woodstock 100.1 is Offering Summer and Fall 2025 Internships

Each semester Radio Woodstock 100.1 offers a variety of internship opportunities for marketing and promotions, as well as music and production. Interns will be working collaboratively on marketing and promoting the radio station, concert series, music festivals, by creating various promos and commercials. They will also have the chance to work on the on-air product.

Additional intern responsibilities include…

  • Write company press releases and follow up with press contacts
  • Write copy for in-house and clients’ commercials
  • Assist webmaster with day-to-day data entry on the website
  • Social media copywriting and proofreading 
  • Graphics, video editing, and any other creative content creation
  • Assist morning show host with Interview scheduling with station listeners, event attendees, and patrons

Requirements are:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Energetic, outgoing and pro-active
  • Passionate about the industry or radio
  • Available to work in-person

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1-year customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Licensure/certification: Valid NY state driver’s license (other states OK)

Interns will also be a part of the Radio Woodstock Live Events Crew. The Live Events Crew is responsible for the station’s appearance at various community events, major station promotions, remote broadcasts, concerts, fairs and festivals.
