Advising season for faculty is coming up soon. Students will be coming with questions about their schedules for spring and other topics. The Office of Academic Advising (OAA) is providing a training/refresher session for faculty advisors on Friday, Oct. 18, from 12:30-1:30 pm in the FDC (College Hall 113) and on Webex. Tara Salvatore, Director of OAA, and maybe a full-time advisor or two will be presenting material and answering questions.

If you could use an introduction or re-introduction to advising, have specific questions, or want to hear what others are doing, come join us. The session will focus on faculty advisors working within the major but can also address GE questions and technology questions (Starfish, myscheduleplanner, etc.).
