Hosted by Chrissy O’Grady, Rachel Rigolino, and the ad hoc OER Committee of faculty governance. SUNY Press (64 ink), the SUNY Center for Professional Development and SUNY OER Services are sponsoring a webinar for faculty interested in either adopting or creating Open Educational Resources (OER) for their courses. OER are openly licensed texts, media and other digital learning materials that are more accessible, affordable and flexible than those with a traditional copyright. During the webinar you will hear from SUNY faculty and staff who will talk about their experience with OER and answer some frequently asked questions. What OER materials are out there for faculty to preview and adopt? What can you do with OER? How do you get started with OER? What SUNY resources are available to help you?
