We have suffered loss and struggled mightily with a strange new world over the past year. This late winter moment seems a fitting time to look back and memorialize what we have gone through as a faculty, as a community.
And with spring just under the snow and cracks of light in the pandemic clouds, it seems fitting too to look toward release and renewal.
Let us come together, you and I, all of us to commemorate and to envision. This meeting is an open time for you to say what moves you, a time for you to share your struggles, to offer gratitude, to memorialize, to hope, to see and to be with your colleagues and friends.
The program will be interspersed with music and text and a contemplative practice presented by New Paltz faculty members.
