In this time of greater restriction, we are in different boats in this storm, and always have been. What are some of the ways of being, that we and our students need in this time? What are some ways to create ‘sacred’ community? Deep listening, stories, community, the wisdom of asking for connection and support are critical. We are wired for connection and co-regulation. We are not intended to survive alone. We need one another with presence, tenderness, compassion and a fierceness in these difficult times, What are the ways we can support our students with connection, the experience of belonging and sacred possibility?
Join Rabbi Lori Wynters (Educational Studies & Leadership) for a conversation on ways to use methods based in mindfulness and spirituality to hold space for feelings and support students and each other during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic. Faculty, staff, and campus employees welcome.
