Indigenous Climate Change Perspectives with Rosemary Millham, Nov 16, 11:00

For indigenous peoples of the American southwest, the thinking and living through modern climate change is an Earth-based, contemplative, and conscientious endeavor to bring about a balanced world for the survival of the Earth as a system. Unlike capitalistic and ‘green’ conversations emanating in many corners of government and American society, indigenous peoples of the southwest focus on how to develop a consciousness of the Earth and ways to develop re-connections to heal the system through thoughts, words and deeds.
