Legislative Gazette Seeks Reporters, Photographers, Video News Producers, Media Managers, etc. for Fall Internships (remote and in-person)

The Legislative Gazette is looking for intern reporters, photographers, video news producers, and media managers for the fall 2021 semester. Interns will cover state news, and select local and national stories too, for the Gazette’s website and social media network. A team is also needed to plan and produce Gazette Talks, a new podcast that features Legislative Gazette reporters and special guests giving a behind-the-scenes look at how the news is made each week.

The Legislative Gazette is looking for intern reporters, photographers, video news producers, and media managers for the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semester. Several scholarships are available — for students to travel, for underrepresented students, and for those who can enroll full-time in the internship (12 credits) and the deadline is September 5. **An Information Session via Zoom will be held Friday, August 27 at 10 a.m. Plan to attend! Rosendale Theatre Seeks Storytellers to Create Mini Gallery/Museum Documenting Its History; Graphic Design, Signage, Web Skills Needed

The Rosendale Theatre board and volunteers have been busy during the pandemic improving their physical space and thinking about how to more fully use the building– to do more than just show a nightly movie.
One of their projects is to set up a mini-gallery/museum that shows and tells the history of the building. With that in mind, the group would like to find a student or two to work on the project– someone(s) who can dig in the archives and create signage that gives theatre-goers a sense of the town and the Theatre’s place in it. Qualified candidates should have design experience, and know how to tell stories visually and graphically. We may also add this to our website and social media, so those skills are a big plus!

Remote Summer Intern Needed for Graphic Design, Social Media, Admin-type Duties for Stockade Works

Stockade Works seeks a motivated and detail-oriented intern for remote administrative work and possible in-person assistance with training programs (covid-pending). Duties include data entry, graphic design work, maintaining organized file systems, workshop-related errands and material prep, help with maintaining social media accounts, and general administrative duties. Stockade Works is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the potential of film/tv, media and tech in the Hudson Valley.
