In the fall of 2023, a one-year paid internship will be offered to a college senior, funded by the DJ McManus Family Foundation. They are looking for a curious and passionate journalist, a facile writer, and someone who loves to talk to people and write their stories. No prior journalism experience is necessary.

Peter Agris Memorial Journalism Scholarships is holding its 30th annual awards for DMJ and Comm students of Greek Heritage. The careers of 141 aspiring journalists have been supported by grants totaling almost three-quarters of a million dollars over the last thirty years through the partnership initiated by the Alpha Omega Council and the Agris Family to honor the memory of Peter Agris, the founder of the Council and the publisher of The Hellenic Chronicle newspaper. Attention Journalists: Act Now for a Paid Writing Gig with The Council of Industry Magazine

The Council of Industry is looking for a student intern to write an article and help with the publication of the spring edition of our magazine HV Mfg. They need a single article written highlighting a handful of the world class manufacturing firms in the area. About 1500 words which is about 10 – 15 hours of work. They would pay a stipend. The article deadline is the middle of March. There is a possibility of some additional work associated with the publication but are mostly looking to have the article written.
