Rosendale Theatre Seeks Storytellers to Create Mini Gallery/Museum Documenting Its History; Graphic Design, Signage, Web Skills Needed

The Rosendale Theatre board and volunteers have been busy during the pandemic improving their physical space and thinking about how to more fully use the building– to do more than just show a nightly movie.
One of their projects is to set up a mini-gallery/museum that shows and tells the history of the building. With that in mind, the group would like to find a student or two to work on the project– someone(s) who can dig in the archives and create signage that gives theatre-goers a sense of the town and the Theatre’s place in it. Qualified candidates should have design experience, and know how to tell stories visually and graphically. We may also add this to our website and social media, so those skills are a big plus!

This opportunity is great for anyone interested in museum work and design work — the project will add immeasurably to their portfolio. **Can be done in Summer 2021 and/or Fall 2021. This is an in-person and remote opportunity; candidates must be able to come to the theatre.
