Welcome to the AI Inquiry Group—a space for curious minds to explore the evolving role of AI in higher education. Whether you’re an AI skeptic, enthusiast, or somewhere in between, this informal gathering invites faculty to engage in open conversations about AI’s impact on teaching, research, and academic life.

Join us in person for bagels and coffee (in the Faculty Development Center,  College Hall, room 113) or connect virtually as we share insights, ask big questions, and navigate the challenges and opportunities AI presents in our classrooms and beyond. No expertise required—just curiosity and a willingness to think together.

Our February meeting on Monday, February 10 at 10:00 in the FDC will feature faculty talking about AI research tools such as Stanford University’s Storm, approaches to AI literacy, and experiences with Lumen’s (free to SUNY faculty) teaching circle: Generative AI for Teaching and Learning

Please RSVP here (but guests are welcome to show up even if they have not RSVP’d): REGISTRATION LINK
