Socially Distanced Outing to Peterskill Falls in Minnewaska State Park, Mon. Aug. 17th, leave FDC/campus at 4:00 p.m. or meet on mountain 4:20 p.m. at kiosk

Please come for a masked faculty & staff outing to the creek at Peterskill Falls to meet the new faculty.  All are welcome, including families and dogs on leashes. $10/car entry fee (free with Empire State Park pass) or contact facultycenter@newpaltz.edu for transportation and fee options. Wheelchair accessible gravel trail. * Those 62 years old and older with a New York state license may enter for free, Monday-Friday.

Time: 4:00 p.m. (leave campus) or meet 4:20 p.m. Peterskill parking lot, near info signs

Location: Peterskill entry to Minnewaska State Park

Directions from SUNY New Paltz Campus:  Drive west, downhill on 299/Main Street and continue driving towards Ridge on County Rout 7/ New Paltz-Minnewaska Rd. until T at 44/55 (Mountain Brauhaus on your left). Turn right and travel up the mountain. You will pass Mohonk Preserve visitor center and Trapps entries on your right. Then, you will see entrance for Peterskill.
