The SUNY FACT2 Task Group on Experiential Learning is excited to announce a Spring 2025 Webinar Series highlighting innovative campus “plays” from our emerging Experiential Learning Playbook. This six-week series will showcase transformative approaches to experiential learning and offer practical strategies for adapting these innovations across SUNY campuses.
Webinar Series Schedule:
- When: Weekly Zoom sessions, Thursdays 2:00 – 3:00 from March 27th through May 1st (3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/117, 4/24, 5/1)
- Where: Virtual
- Who Should Attend: Faculty, staff, administrators, and experiential learning champions from across SUNY
What to Expect:
Each webinar will feature:
- Case studies of successful experiential learning initiatives (“plays”) from SUNY campuses.
- Insights on how these approaches can be tailored for different institutional contexts.
- Strategies to enhance student engagement, equity, and career readiness through experiential learning.
Possible Topics Include:
- Connecting Learning to Global Challenges: Using the UN Sustainable Development Goals and community partnerships to frame projects and impacts.
- Equity-Driven Experiential Learning: Addressing access gaps and building inclusive models.
- High-Impact Frameworks: Project-Based Learning, COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), and Service Learning.
- Campus Partnerships: Leveraging cross-campus collaboration for strategic impact.
- Data and Impact: Measuring success and making the case for experiential learning.
