Come join us in the Faculty Development Center to think about building AI literacy. We’ll be watching (and likely discussing) an MLA webinar on the topic from 2:00-3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20, in College Hall 113.

From the MLA…

“What are the literacies that students and teachers need to develop in the face of ever-accelerating generative AI technologies? This webinar will share highlights of the third working paper from the MLA-CCCC Task Force on Writing and AI , “Building a Culture for Generative AI Literacy in College Language, Literature, and Writing” along with a classroom handout for students. Speakers will discuss key strategies for supporting AI literacies in our classrooms, departments, and institutions. Speakers: Antonio Byrd, Leonardo Flores, Holly Hassel (host), and Jen William.”
