The New Paltz UUP chapter and the Office of the Provost are pleased to invite eligible pre-tenured Academic and Professional faculty to attend a remote panel on the Dr. Nuala McGann Drescher Affirmative Action/Diversity Leave. The panel will be hosted by Anne R. Roschelle and Sarah Wyman and will include two-three past Drescher Leave recipients who will discuss the projects they did during their leave and how it helped them obtain tenure. In addition, Deb Gould will provide detailed information on the application process.
If you are interested in applying for a Drescher Leave, let Deb Gould in the Provost’s Office know asap. We will be holding an in-person workshop on Oct 17 at 1:45 pm in CSB110 to review the application process and answer your questions about the program.
Please RSVP to Mary Thompson, the UUP Chapter Assistant, at thompsom@newpaltz.edu
Also, RSVP Deb Gould (Provost’s Office) at gouldd@newpaltz.edu
The campus deadline will be October 23 to the Provost’s office.
