Our plans for Sound Your Truth are evolving and will be shaped by YOUR contributions.

2023 theme (to be developed): COURAGE

2022 theme:  Sound Your Truth: Emergence/y

How do we emerge in times of crisis? How might we bridge the gap?How might we fill the void? How might we practice radical care? How might we flow out of the void?

We invite YOU to actively co-create this evening of creative sharing and collective expression.

Rather than sequencing activities, we will layer different modes of expression, so they fluidly respond to each other and create an experiential whole.

TO PARTICIPATE AS PERFORMER or CREATOR share your plans with us on THIS WUFOO FORM (https://newpaltz.wufoo.com/forms/mqpj5le1hfgr39/) or email us at eddy@newpaltz.edu.

In 2022, this event was hosted and coordinated by The Eddy at New Paltz in collaboration with the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, the Department of Black Studies, the Black Lives Matter at School Collective, the Faculty Development Center, the Center for Student Engagement (Intercultural Relations), and the Sojourner Truth Library.

We are thrilled about the growing list of participating classes and individuals and hope you will join in some way.

Warm regards,

Andrea Frank on behalf of Eddy at New Paltz
