Come to the BLM @ School Informational Session: @ 5:00 on October 3 in B-125 (aka The 1907) Room or Join Virtually

Decorative

Come out to our heartwarming, activist-leaning, keg party without the keg, alcohol, or even drinks. Well, it’s actually an informational meeting where sharing goes both ways as our collective amplifies voices of social change.

We navigate the complex roles of our institutional reality in search of activists, allies, and co-conspirators as we unapologetically center the lived experiences of Black life. As a collective that is grounded in the Black Lives Matter @ School national movement, we have been very intentional about using this framework in the academy to create the widest range and sustainable flow of events produced at any university in the entire nation.

It takes a village simply because what we do, and do not do, impacts the village in a deeply meaningful and measurable way. Let us continue to be more active and intentionally complicit in positive social change than otherwise. We do not want all your time, at any time, as self-care is important, but we welcome that little causal, and at times inconsistent, slice of you.

Meeting Location and Day/Time: Old Main Room 1907, Monday, Oct. 3 from 5:00-6:30
