Dr. Gweneth Lloyd, Director of the Psychological Counseling Center, and Psychological Counseling staff will host a workshop on ways we can best communicate with and support our students, as we reach the end of a pandemic semester. All are welcome including Staff. Please bring questions.
This will be a discussion focused on managing the balance between teaching and supporting distressed students through this extremely difficult time. Students’ adjustment to pandemic restrictions is now further compounded by exposure to possibly multiple losses of family and friends.
We also fully recognize the parallel experience of COVID-era challenges as you too are experiencing similar losses as your students. Remember our growth and development as a community going through this experience will be forever unparalleled.
A great opportunity to share and learn from each others’ challenges and solutions.
