SUNY Diversity Conference, Envisioning Change in an Evolving Landscape, Dec. 3-5, Albany; Proposals due Sept. 20

Welcome from the Senior Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives and Chief Diversity Officer  On behalf of the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, I invite you to join diversity and inclusion leaders, practitioners, partners, and scholars across the State University of New York to consider the urgent and complex issues that will frame the future of SUNY. Our theme, “SUNY2030: Envisioning Change in an Evolving Landscape,” is explored through panels, workshops, keynote speakers, poster sessions, and creative activities that squarely focus on the changes needed to more effectively advance diversity, equity and inclusion. Conference sessions will provide the grounding and expertise you will need to navigate the evolving social, political, demographic, economic, and legal landscape. In addition, sessions provide opportunities to form networks and partnerships with others who will expose you to new perspectives, turbocharge your leadership, and create greater campus impact.

I am grateful for the partnership and financial support of the University Faculty Senate and the conference volunteers who work with diligence and commitment to create a top-notch conference experience for you!

Sincerely,

Teresa A. Miller
