Assessment for Learning Outcomes certificate program

Starting January 2, 2019

The Assessment of Learning Outcomes Certificate is designed for faculty and staff members who are or will be either engaged in the assessment of learning outcomes at the course or program level or be responsible for designing, reviewing or coordinating curricular mapping or other academic assessment activities at their campus. The certificate courses focus on the importance of assessment activities in improving teaching and learning.

This course builds off the Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment of Learning Outcomes Certificate programs to help the participants learn the competencies necessary for leading assessment initiatives on their campus. Participants will apply what they learn directly to their campus context through interactive resources and engaging assignments that teach effective self-assessment and project management practices.

Institutional Effectiveness certificate program

The Institutional Effectiveness Certificate Program is intended to prepare the participants to contribute to institutional level assessment and accreditation committees, assist their institution and respective departments in the assessment of strategic objectives, and be able to advise, assist and instruct others in developing cycles of goal setting, measurement, data collection, process review and evaluation.
