Starfish Advising System Training Sessions, Feb 20 & 26, March 1, 6 & 9

Academic and professional faculty are invited to attend a Starfish EARLY ALERT information session in the Faculty Development Center, College Hall 113. Attendees will be introduced to this new web-based advising system and the ways in which it can streamline and simplify the process of supporting student learning and student success.

This customizable and easy-to-use application will help you quickly access information about advisees, call immediate attention to students who are in need of additional support in your classes, provide an updated list of faculty and staff in a student’s individualized success network, and integrate with your Outlook365 Calendar to allow students to easily and quickly make appointments with built-in student confirmation and reminder emails.

The Advisement & Student Success staff will provide an overview of Starfish EARLY ALERT, demonstrate how it will integrate with systems already in use, and will be available to provide more individualized training sessions upon request.
