Resolve Philly Offers Paid Summer Editorial Internships

Resolve Philly is a collaborative solutions reporting project that focuses on economic mobility in Philadelphia. They are hiring for a paid remote summer internship, $15 an hour for 20-25 hours per week. They are a nonprofit looking for an editorial intern to be involved with their Equally Informed, Reframe, and Community Engagement initiatives. The work can include investigative, solutions and data journalism as well as collaborative newsroom operations. Dear students,  

We are looking forward to working with you this semester.  Our industry is changing.  Radio, television, film, online media, and journalism are still being produced and/or broadcast, but with the challenges of the pandemic, the landscape of media careers has shifted.  We are keeping a close eye on industry standards and expectations. Hearst Seeking Freelance Reporters for Points North, an Upstate Regional News Site

Hearst Newspapers, branded as Points North, is looking for freelance news reporters to cover stories focused in the Hudson Valley, Catskills, Adirondacks and Capitol Regions. The position requires reporters to write three digital stories a day with pictures and an understanding of SEO. Depending on the complexity of the piece and amount of sources Hearst is offering  $150 to $300 per piece.They are creating a combination of centerpiece stories along with clusters of shorter stories to keep the fast growing audience engaged. Duties include reporting, producing, writing, and aggregating stories that reflect the image of the site. You must be able to find interesting, regional stories and be able to quickly report breaking news. As well, you will work closely with the editing team to coordinate daily features and future plans. Digital Media, Journalism and Management Interns Needed for the Legislative Gazette in Albany and Remote; Scholarships Available

The Legislative Gazette is looking for intern reporters, photographers, video news producers, and media managers for the FALL 2021 semester. Interns will cover state news, and select local and national stories too, for the Gazette’s website and social media network. A team is also needed to plan and produce Gazette Talks, a new podcast that features Legislative Gazette reporters and special guests giving a behind-the-scenes look at how the news is made each week.
