Are you a New Paltz psychology student hoping to make a positive impact? Please join us as we host Dr. Becofsky, a highly successful alum of our program who is an expert in sport psychology and behavioral medicine. As a student at New Paltz, Dr. Becofsky double-majored in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication and she was a student athlete, “serving” as a star on the women’s volleyball team during her tenure at New Paltz.

She went on to get a PhD in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and she completed a post-doctoral research fellowship on cardiovascular behavioral medicine at Brown University.
