- iPad used for answering reading comprehension questions when the students read their level appropriate books-used to assess the students
- buddy reading groups with same reading level
- 2 lowest readers read sight words first then read the story a few times
- read story and answer questions together for comprehension
Comprehension
- Finishing the sentece of their opinon of their favorite dr.seuss story or what they like about it.
- Fills out multiple choice questions and answers comprehension questions as teacher reads aloud.
- Teacher works one on one with reading groups discussing comprehesion and their guided reading strategies.
- Teacher reads aloud and models activity relating to book, then sends children to fill out their own opinion on the story.
