I am a 45 year old married, mother of two boys.   My boys are my world, Michael is 11, he is funny, kind and loves sports.  He definitely has my sense of humor and is a great kid.  My son Joey is 13, he is kind, amazing and au-some.   Joey has an Autism Spectrum Disorder and has very few friends (really only one).  Both he and his teachers were inspirations for leaving my career in order to pursue a special education degree.

Although this journey in education has been a sacrifice to my family in so many areas, I have been so blessed to have a husband who supports and loves me.  Even though it has been tough with being a wife, mother, work, and school, my faith pushes me forward and allows me to enjoy the path and to trust in the process.
