Media Internship Opportunity at Suprise Lake Camp!

Surprise Lake Camp, the longest-running Jewish sleepaway camp in the US, is looking for a creative and energetic media intern to join our team this summer! You’ll be responsible for capturing the unforgettable spirit of Surprise Lake Camp by generating engaging social media content. Play a pivotal role in conveying SLC’s positioning, messaging and
storytelling to families who follow us on social media.

Qualifications:

A college student (rising junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Marketing,
Communications, or a related field (ideally with a love for summer camp!).
• A passionate and creative individual with a knack for storytelling and experience
with social media marketing.
• Proficient in video editing software and comfortable with various social media
platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• A keen eye for detail with a strong understanding of visual aesthetics.
• An organized individual with the ability to manage content on a Digital Asset
Management platform.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to live on-site and work six (6) days a week while camp is in session, (roughly June 18-Aug 23).

What is offered:

  • Paid Summer Internship: Gain valuable experience while working at a renowned summer camp. We provide a seasonal stipend (around $2,700 based on age and experience).
    • Summer Room & Board: Camp provides housing and all meals (kosher) at our location 60 miles north of NYC.

    rewarding, and unforgettable summer experience. Work alongside people from all over the world.
    • Opportunity to Extend Remotely: Continue contributing your skills remotely during the school year, 5-10 hours a month. (optional)
