The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies is pleased to announce that undergraduate student applications are now open to join their Summer 2024 Green Teams Internship Program, running from May 28th, 2024 – August 8th, 2024. This 11-week program pays a $6,000 stipend plus housing. Travel grants are also available. This is the ninth year that this program brings together students from diverse backgrounds, universities and majors to address complex sustainability challenges for a wide array of organizations including but not limited to corporations, local businesses, municipalities, community groups, government agencies, and nonprofits. The first day of classes for the Summer 2023 session is May 31. This means that in order to intern this summer, you need to find and secure a placement by May 31. Your internship doesn’t need to begin exactly on May 31, but you must have the placement secured with Internship Coordinator Nancy Heiz. For more information on the summer schedule, click here.
The Daily Catch is a local news publication located in Rhinebeck and Red Hook. They are offering a one-year paid internship writing news features about Red Hook and Rhinebeck, including Bard. If you’re incredibly curious, passionate about journalism, a facile writer, and someone who loves to talk to people and write their stories, this opportunity is for you. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to move into a full-time reporting job at The Daily Catch or a post-graduate fellowship in 2024-2025, right after graduation.
