Baker Street Productions, an independent production company based in Sullivan County, is seeking a digital media production intern to assist the production in several projects, including creating a documentary about the history of Boxing in the Catskills, called “Ringside in the Mountains.”

Much of the internship will be remote, so student must be self-motivated and disciplined. Excellent communication skills a MUST.

  • Intern will be able to learn about creating documentary content through development, pre-­ production, production, and post-production.
  • Assisting with the organizational tasks of historical research.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Provide handson support to the producer/director)

  • Assist in project wrapping, including billing coordination and expense filing.
  • Participate in note-taking, and conducting research, to gain insights and contribute to project.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the production team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic knowledge of online research.
  • Basic knowledge of editing (Premiere preferred).
  • Familiarity with Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Slides.
  • Strong interest in pure production.
  • Participate in note-taking, and conducting research, to gain insights and contribute to project.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the production team.
