Post-Production Film Intern Needed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NOW!

Are you a HUNGRY post-production intern and able to intern in Williamsburg, Brooklyn? If so, read on:

Catherine Rehwinkel is producing for director/producer/EP Andrew Neel  (GoatKing KellyDarkonAlice Neel).  She is seeking a hungry post production intern to start in February: We need help with several projects we are developing at SeeThink Films. Centrally, there is a doc in production (about artists working in the advertising industry).  There is a 2024/2025 slate of feature films at various stages, both fictional and documentary which will be entering post-production, and a couple of feature documentaries with existing footage in the can which are now ready to begin assembly ASAP.

We are offering:

•a monthly stipend for the duration of part-time internship—up to 12 mo—the basis of which is up for discussion;

•a chair/machine at the SeeThink Films office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

•potential opportunity to work as an assistant editor on sizzles/trailers

•the chance to gain experience working with an award-winning editor (of feature films & Super Bowl commercials)

•mentorship within a tight knit community of filmmakers

Working together with myself and our editor, post intern duties would include things like:

•transcripts / supporting paper edits from director, producer, editor

•offline media encoding

•project setup (likely in Adobe Premiere)

•creating & exporting selects stringouts

If interested, please write to catherine@seethink.com.  If it feels like a match, I would love to get a coffee/tea in Manhattan/Brooklyn to discuss further.
