2026 Scholarships & Fellowships from Public Relations Society of America Foundation

Looking for internships or scholarships? The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Foundation awards annual scholarships and grants to students across the United States. Check out these 2026 fellowships and scholarships for journalism and communication! 

The deadline to submit fellowship applications is Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The deadline to submit scholarship applications is Thursday, April 30, 2026. 

Fellowships: 

  1. AGEAN Public Relations Fellowship – $2,500 scholarship + 5-week paid remote internship with AGEAN Public Relations – Awards one BIPOC identified rising junior or senior who is pursuing a career in public relations.
  2. Hannah Cranston Media Fellowship – $3,000 scholarship and a 12-week part-time paid internship with Hannah Cranston Media in New York, NY – Awards one graduating senior or graduate student who is pursuing a major in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. This fellowship requires the ability to work in person in Hannah Cranston Media’s office in New York, NY three days per week (Monday-Wednesday). Preference will be given to students who are BIPOC-identified or identify as a member of an underrepresented minority group.
  3. Kite Hill Fellowship – $1,500 scholarship + three-month paid internship with Kite Hill in Miami, FL or New York, NY – Award one rising senior, graduating senior, or graduate student who is pursuing a major or minor in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications. This fellowship requires the ability to work in person in Kite Hill’s office in Miami, FL or New York, NY one day per week, as well as experience with Google Suite and AI.

Scholarships: 

  1. Axia Public Relations Scholarship – $2,000 – This scholarship awards juniors who demonstrate financial need, experience and passion for public relations, and dedication to professional ethics and excellence. Candidates must be juniors or seniors in good academic standing. Candidates must have some public relations experience through volunteering, internships, or employment and studying public relations or an equivalent major.
  2. Geoffrey M. Curtis Scholarship – Three $10,000 awards – This scholarship awards rising junior and senior undergraduate students who are pursuing a career in public relations, journalism, or communications and are first-generation college students.
