The Rosendale Theatre is presently accepting 3 different internships for Summer 2025. Learn how it all comes together and pick up valuable school credit along the way!
The positions are…
1. Graphic Design & Administrative Assistant Intern
Work closely with the theatre’s Managing Director to create film/event web pages that captivate. Assist with managerial file entry and organization as needed.
Candidate must have solid experience with:
- Photoshop (Image Editing and Layout)
- Excel
- GoogleDocs
2. Video Production Intern
Candidates must have experience with end-to-end video production. Work with theatre programming staff to create short, exciting videos that capture the various types of programming offered by the theatre.
Candidates should include clips of your video work in application.
3. Theatre Tech Intern
The Rosendale Theatre is a community-run, non-profit movie theater that also hosts bands, plays, and every other form of live events. We’re always trying to add value to shows in the form of presentations, panels and Q&A’s, because it is getting harder and harder to get people to leave their houses. Home cinemas have taken away most of the incentive to go out to see new releases, and combined with simultaneous streaming releases have changed the landscape substantially.
An intern for the Technical Director of the Rosendale Theatre should be available to help make events happen, but also help with the day to day operation of an active and often hectic movie theater. Having some understanding of audio equipment, microphones and sound setup is helpful, but could be learned on the job. An understanding of computers and networking would also be helpful, but can also be learned. We record and stream content, so an interest in video recording, editing and streaming would be helpful.
