The New Paltz Zine Library is co-hosting a weekend full of zine fun with Lagusta’s Luscious Commissary and zinester Kate Larson on February 17th, 18th, and 19th!

To kick of the weekend, on Friday the 16th, there will be zine-making materials and resources in the Sojourner Truth Library lobby from 5-9pm. The first hour will be a zine-making workshop and there will also be people on hand to assist with layout and formatting questions throughout the evening.

On Saturday the 17th, you can return to the STL lobby between 3-5pm to drop off your completed zine for photocopying. If you have any final questions about completing your zine, there will be zine-makers there to help you through the final stages. We will make 20 free copies of every zine completed by 5pm and they will be distributed at the zine reading the next day.

On Sunday the 18th, the weekend will wrap up with a 7pm zine reading and show at Lagusta’s Commissary (11 Church Street, New Paltz) where you can share what you’ve made and trade your zines with other people at the reading!
