Dr. Matthew Wice, currently a visiting lecturer, will join the SUNY New Paltz Department of Psychology as a full-time assistant professor beginning in Fall 2019.
Dr. Wice received his Ph.D. in developmental psychology from The New School for Social Research in May 2017. His research program concerns the development of social cognition, with a particular emphasis on how socio-cognitive development is influenced by cultural beliefs and practices. His teaching specializations are developmental and cultural psychology.
The Department of Psychology is very excited to have Dr. Wice join its ranks and welcomes him to the faculty.
