NYS Music is looking for eager students to join our team as interns for the Fall 2023 semester. Over the past few years, NYS Music has undergone tremendous growth and aims to provide an opportunity for English, journalism and communications students to gain experience working with a website focusing on music and arts from across New York State.
We are looking for eager, driven students to join the NYS Music team, writing news and features on content assigned by an editor as well as sought out by the writers. This can be an ongoing opportunity for all students in Journalism programs, and allow them a chance to have their work published on a regular basis to an ever widening audience in the Northeast. We would expect students to meet a minimum number of articles/hours per week and work with our existing staff in an online environment. Must be very self-motivated, strong writers and willing to learn.
