The Department of Communication is actively engaged in research and scholarship, innovative in its teaching, and strongly committed to the Hudson Valley region through our advocacy and outreach efforts. Because communication is closely linked to the technological, social, and cultural changes that are rapidly changing our world, we are a popular department that offers students various ways to pursue their interests and career goals.
We offer concentrations in Interpersonal/Intercultural Communication, Organizational Communication, and Public Relations, taught by nine full-time faculty and six adjunct faculty all working to provide the highest quality academic education for more than 325 undergraduates.
