Emeritus faculty member Phyllis Freeman has coauthored with Dr. Richard I. Horowitz two recent peer reviewed medical articles on Lyme disease.

The first is an article published in the International Journal of General Medicine on dapsone combination therapy for the treatment of Lyme disease and associated co-infections. This is part 1 of a two part paper and has a video abstract attached to it (see below).

Part 2 of the paper was previously published in the journal Healthcare, for those who want to remind themselves of the abnormalities on the 16 point MSIDS map in those suffering with chronic Lyme disease identified by Drs. Horowitz and Freeman.

Congratulations to Dr. Freeman on the publication of these articles!
