Strategies for Reading

We read multiple theories per class so go about your reading strategically:

• Find through lines, contradictions, and complimentary points between the different readings for the day.
• Pull keywords from each text and find the definitions, context, and explanations in the text-note the page!
• Ask yourself how the thesis is supported and write down any questions you might ask the author.
