Don’t know when to complete your internship? Feeling lost in the process and don’t know the next step? Consider these points when trying to find, apply, and complete your internship.
Below are our four steps to getting certified eligible to do an internship. If you plan to intern for credit (required for all DMJ majors), you must follow all these steps. The first step should be completed as soon as you meet the requirements below. If you are a sophomore, you are likely eligible to complete the first step.
Where to find Internships
First, September 4th is the LAST DAY to add or drop a course to your schedule without an electronic permission of instructor (and a late fee). September 11th is the last day to add/drop a course but you will need electronic permission from the instructor and $20 course change fee. Instructors generally will NOT add students after the first week of classes, so it’s wise to check your Fall class schedule NOW and make any adjustments as soon as possible. Continue reading
