Counseling Center: The SUNY New Paltz Psychological Counseling Center can be reached at 845-257-2920 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for tele-counseling services. After business hours, students experiencing a mental health crisis should call the University Police at 845-257-2222 for access to the PCC emergency counselor.
New York State has also set up a COVID-19 mental health hotline, staffed with over 6,000 mental health professionals, that you can access to get online or by phone therapy to cope with the stress, anxiety, isolation, etc. Call the hotline at 1-844-863-9314.
