Congrats to the 2023 Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society Inductees

The DMJ and Communication Departments inducted 40 students into Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society, at a ceremony on campus Sunday, May 7.  Internship Coordinator and Department Advisor Nancy Heiz, Prof. Megan Sperry, and Prof. Janice Anderson shared speeches celebrating the hard work and determination of the inductees as well as forwarded regards from DMJ Department Chair Gregory Bray and Communication Department Chair Stella Deen. Department Administrative Assistant Amy Witkus was central to the organization of the event and the administration and communication with students. Inductees are from both departments, representing all aspects of Communication and DMJ studies here at New Paltz.

While many of the honor students are graduating, those who will continue their studies next year are invited to gather in the fall to plan activities to make this an active chapter on campus. Please speak to Nancy Heiz at heizn@newpaltz.edu

Congratulations inductees; we look forward to seeing your future successes!
