Centering & Salutations
Qigong classes use various standing positions, so students traditionally wear light in-door shoes (shoes that have not been worn outside), but some Westerners practice in bare feet. Wear loose and comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. While qigong is slow and gentle, it is also invigorating, so your body temperature will rise, and light layers are recommended.
