The FUTURE NOW Media Foundation is hosting an information session for their FUTURE NOW Campus Ambassador Program.

This info session will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 6:45 p.m. and will include all the information you might need to decide if this program is for you. Click here for the Zoom link for that session.

Volunteer at the Online News Association Conference for Free Admittance

The Online News Association Conference, ONA20, is virtual this year and students can apply to volunteer to get the two weeks of programming for free. The conference will run from Oct. 1-16 and they are accepting applications on a rolling basis from now until the start of the conference. Apply early for your best chance!

They have a variety of roles available. They’re recruiting volunteers to help lead compelling conversations in session chats, staff the virtual help desk, welcome attendees at virtual receptions and help with some production and design tasks.

They are specifically looking for volunteers with experience in audio production, video production, newsletters, live coverage on Twitter and Instagram, writing, curation and more.
