- Mid-term evaluations
- Lunch and learn meetings with staff
- Masterclasses with documentary filmmaker Stanley Nelson
Interns support in all steps of production; pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Pre-Production

- Assisting in scheduling
- Sourcing equipment
- Scouting locations
- Managing communication
2. Production

- Assisting with setup and breakdown
- Logging shots
- Handling props and wardrobe
- Managing paperwork
- Serving as a PA
3. Post-Production

- Organizing and logging footage
- Basic editing support
- Transcribing interviews
- Selecting sound & music
- Assisting in distribution
The internship program is set to begin Monday, January 12, 2026 and run through to Friday, May 29, 2026. The internship program operates on a hybrid basis, but is open to local candidates who are available to work in the office in Harlem, NYC. Interns work a minimum of 15 hours per week and make $500/month.
