Hudson Valley based nonprofit film production company, HUDSY, is looking to bring on a Social Media Marketing intern.
*Please note that while we are a film production company, we are NOT looking for production interns. Our need at the moment is solely for social media + marketing. Samples will be requested.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on content strategy and brainstorm ideas for posts, reels, stories, and other social content
- Assist in creating and editing content tailored for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Help maintain and update HUDSY’s social media calendar
- Monitor social platforms, engage with the community, and respond to comments
- Assist in organizing and executing social media campaigns tied to film releases, events, and fundraising efforts
- Track performance metrics (likes, shares, engagement) and research audiences as necessary
- Help maintain and organize digital asset libraries (photos, graphics, videos)
- Stay up-to-date on social media and marketing trends, tools, and best practices
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Ability to work in-person in Midtown Kingston
- A passion for storytelling and/or the arts
- Experience or strong interest in social media marketing
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Canva
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic graphic design/video editing skills are a plus (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
