Development and Strategic Communications Manager: The Development and Strategic Communications Manager at Mid-Hudson Energy Transition is a key leadership role responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all fundraising activities of the organization. This individual will also play a vital role in shaping and executing the organization’s strategic communications efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, fundraising experience, graphic design skills, and preferably have knowledge of the energy sector.

Equity Fund Manager: The Equity Fund Manager is a crucial role at Mid-Hudson Energy Transition poised to drive transformative social and environmental change by overseeing the growth, fundraising initiatives, meticulous investment management, and effective administration of loans and grants aimed at fostering resilient and healthy homes within our community. The Equity Fund Manager will provide visionary leadership, significantly contribute to our mission of addressing climate-related challenges, and champion economic justice while working closely with the organization’s leadership and stakeholders.

Bilingual Community Coordinator: The Bilingual Community Coordinator at Mid-Hudson Energy Transition (MHET) will serve as an important link between MHET’s programs and the communities they serve. This individual will develop strategies for outreach, build and strengthen relationships with local organizations and community partners, and communicate program details and benefits to those the programs are intended to serve.

Energy Innovation Associate: The Energy Innovation Associate at Mid-Hudson Energy Transition (MHET) will investigate and explore innovative community energy systems, strategies, and developments in the public and private sectors to support MHET’s commitment to rethinking and restructuring our current energy systems.

Clean Energy Finance Associate: The Finance Associate to support the work of MHET’s Project Finance committee in the creation of a structured fund to provide low-interest loans to disadvantaged communities for the purpose of rehabilitating homes and businesses, financing energy efficiency and energy generation projects, achieving beneficial electrification, and reducing the impacts of climate change. The ideal candidate will be a graduate student with a background in finance, economics, or a related field, and a passion for environmental sustainability and social justice.

Healthy and Resilient Homes Associate: This position reports to the Healthy & Resilient Homes (HRH) Project Manager. The Healthy & Resilient Homes Associate will support the project management of the HRH program. This program will support energy efficiency, weatherization, and remediation services to low-income homes in the Mid-Hudson region. The intern will be responsible for supporting the coordination, implementation, and reporting of the program.

Energy Programs Assistant: The Energy Programs Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s initiatives by providing essential programmatic support, operational assistance, and coordination to ensure the success of MHET’s clean energy, energy democracy, and energy justice programs.

Clean Energy Communications Associate: The Communications Associate will support the execution of a comprehensive social media strategy that promotes the organization’s initiatives and programs, including Kingston Community Energy, with a focus on energy democracy and energy justice. The intern will be responsible for maintaining a proactive content calendar, designing print and digital graphics, and editing video clips to promote and generate interest in MHET’s and Kingston Community Energy’s activities, with a particular emphasis on equitable access to clean energy and community empowerment.
