Independent journalist Sarah Carr, who serves as this year’s James H. Ottaway Sr. Visiting Professor, will be introduced to students with a Q&A hosted by SUNY New Paltz President Darrell P. Wheeler on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Science Hall Auditorium.
Carr has covered education issues for two decades, publishing in The Washington Post, The Hechinger Report, the Atlantic, Slate, ProPublica, The New York Times, and the Boston Globe Magazine, among others. Her experience and expertise makes this an amazing opportunity for aspiring journalists to ask real-world questions.
