Greetings Literacy Candidates! This email contains information about registration for Summer & Fall 2023:
- Registration for Summer AND Fall begins tomorrow, April 10th.
Check (and double check!) your plan of study for the courses you need to take. Please note: some changes may have been made in the last week due to an unusually high number of new candidates enrolling and some shuffling of seats that needed to happen.- You will require permission to register for some (but not all) courses — you can see which courses require permission by clicking on the blurb in the Schedule of Classes.
- You should have received automated emails about permissions you’ve been given over the last two weeks.
- If for some reason you have not been given permission for a class that you believe you need, please get in touch with Dr. Greene asap.
- Dr. Greene will be responding to email requests as quickly as humanly possible. But please be patient — as a reminder, on top of being the only advisor in Literacy right now, they are also the literacy coordinator and department chair. If you don’t hear back right away, rest assured you will hear back!
- Do not reach out to the instructor for permission to register — when in doubt about what to register for, check your plan of study.
- Lastly, if you have been given permission to register for LED753-03 and LED754-03, there is an error in the dates and you may not be able to register for both until it is a fixed. The Registrar is aware of the issue and is working as fast as they can to fix it.
