The Army West Point Athletic Association’s Video Department has extended an internship opportunity for students interested in a career in college athletics, starting this upcoming SPRING ’26 semester. This internship is seeking creative, passionate, and self-motivated individuals with an interest in the sports industry.
These positions are open to students pursuing a degree in broadcasting, film, media, or a similar degree. The selected candidates will have the chance to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in shooting creative video in college athletics. These responsibilities for these positions include but are not limited to:
- Shoot/Capture footage of athletic games for select sports.
- Produce highlight videos, recaps, and hype video for use on athletics social media.
- Learn how to set-up and operate video production equipment including cameras, lights, backdrops, etc.
- Assist in the editing and filming of content towards the Army-Navy rivalry series.
Ideal candidates should be driven, team-oriented, have flexible schedules, and be willing to work non-traditional work hours. Additionally, knowledge of sports and an interest in the sports industry are a plus. Having their own camera equipment or access to some is a plus. These positions are open to full-time or part-time college students.
