Are you looking to apply for an internship this semester? Well, before you can, there is a process of internship eligibility all students must first go through. 

When you apply for internship eligibility there are a few qualifications to ensure you have the proper experience in the classroom to feel confident in your abilities at your internship. You need…  

• At least 60 credits (completed or in progress)
• 30 credits from New Paltz (meaning a year in residency) 
• 18 credits must be in your major 
• Minimum 2.5 overall GPA. 

To see if you qualify you can go look at your progress report at my.newpaltz.edu under the “Academic” tab. When you are qualified, you can save your progress report as a PDF because you will need to submit that when you apply for eligibility.
